Specification check

3000 lb. capacity 120 volt ac electric winch

Load Spec Review helps a buyer state rated load, lift height and duty before requesting factory quotes on a 3000 lb. capacity 120 volt ac electric winch. This page is a checklist, not a compliance certificate and not an ESG report.

Open specification fields

Fill these fields on the RFQ. Empty cells stay open; this desk will not invent a market discount to close them.

Rated capacity

3000 lb. with the layer or drum condition the factory must use.

Lift height

Travel in inches or millimetres, plus lowered height if the path is tight.

Duty cycle

Starts per hour and whether the motor sees intermittent warehouse pulls.

Power

120 volt, phase, frequency and available shop amperage.

Factory files to request after a match

  • Nameplate and capacity basis

Ask the factory for the rating method used on the quoted drum. This is a request list, not a download hosted by this desk.

  • Load test or inspection record

Request the document that belongs to the quoted serial or model series. Public hoist buying notes are reference only.

  • Wiring and motor data

Match the 120 volt brief to the drawing the factory will ship. Do not treat a generic catalog PDF as the quoted machine.

Review sequence before accepting a substitute

  1. Lock units

Write capacity, travel and voltage with units. See unit notes.

  2. Split scope

Keep freight, anchors and commissioning off the machine line unless requested. See scope notes.

  3. Test the substitute

If a factory offers a different rating, restate load center, duty and destination before you accept the swap.

  4. Record open questions

Anything still blank stays unconfirmed. Optional budget and supplier preference do not replace those blanks.
